Agric, Energy and Survey Expert

Iredele is a dynamic and result-oriented Economist with extensive expertise in agricultural and energy economics. He is an accomplished banker and has provided advisory services that helped companies record consistent growth and higher dividends to their shareholders. Iredele worked briefly with International Food Policy Research Institute under the Nigeria Strategy Support Program as a Field Research Officer. He has been worked as the Research Field / In-country Coordinator of several Michigan State University, USAID and World Bank funded projects. These include the Poultry Value-Chain Study and the contemporary issue of crop farmer / herdsmen conflict in Nigeria. This role has taken him to several states in Nigeria where he interacted with various stakeholders at local, state and federal government levels in addition to supervision of research field officers and supervisors. He has amassed substantial experience in country-wide and large-scale field research and data collection. He coordinated the first large survey of maize traders in Nigeria and has several published scholarly articles. Iredele holds BSc and MSc degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is currently a PhD Candidate in Energy Economics at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law at the University of Ibadan.
